What’s worse, losing ‘American Idol’ or splitting with your boyfriend before losing ‘American Idol’?
Crystal Bowersox has the answer.
The Ohio native appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s show on KIIS-FM (102.7) Thursday and revealed that she and boyfriend Tony Kusian ended their relationship this week … on performance day. Now that’s a surefire way to get the vocal cords warmed up.
“He wasn’t cool with the lifestyle,” she told Seacrest. “It was a mutual thing.”
He’s a small-town boy, she said. But she’s not saying she’s an uptown girl. She’s just wants “this career, this lifestyle, more than anything, and I didn’t think he was up for it. He didn’t think he was up for it. I’m a little sad he did it on performance day, but then again, it set that fire in my belly.”
Still, she said she was bummed he didn’t show up to the finale, where she was named runner-up.
Guess nice girls do finish last.
