Star Sightings: Eli Manning and Diddy go Pro; Maggie Gyllenhaal’s lofty ways

Eli Manning attended a Gatorade G Series Pro bash in New York with NFL comrades including LaDainian Tomlinson and D’Brickashaw Ferguson. The athletes were treated to a tasting followed by Foosball with about 100 guests at a loft in Soho, where Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs made a cameo.

We’re told that Diddy -- in an attempt to keep up with the sports stars? -- skipped the elevator and opted to hike the eight flights of stairs to the loft space.

Maggie Gyllenhaal was also in the Big Apple this week, celebrating Ann Taylor’s launch of its Loft Style Studio. The Oscar nominee chatted with the likes of Mena Suvari and designer Philip Lim. While Alexa Chung played DJ, Maggie was overheard expressing her sadness over missing a recent Beyoncé performance; she had to sit out to recover from a small procedure to remove a mole from her back.

Another body-conscious gal in Manhattan recently was Giuliana Rancic, who hosted the launch of skin care line Tria’s Beauty Blue lounge, with the help of ‘Real Housewives’ Kelly Bensimon.

Girl power reigned in Miami Beach this week as well, as a fuller Kate Hudson attended a Barbie makeover event, avoiding an abundance of chocolate but tasting Ty Ku sake cocktails.

Back in Hollywood, ‘The Twilight Saga’ star Nikki Reed took her girlfriend to the tea room at H.wood for some Prohibition Teas (read: heavily spiked). Let’s hear it for the boys, however -- last night at French bistro La Poubelle, also in Hollywood, Justin Long enjoyed beers with buddies, and ‘Mad Men’ actor Rich Sommer sipped in a Funny or Die hoodie.
