Mel Gibson’s ex Oksana Grigorieva hints at breakup scandal

Last week, it was revealed that Mel Gibson and girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva had split after a year -- and amicably, to boot.

Now a new interview with Grigorieva, mother of Gibson’s 5-month-old daughter Lucia, suggests there’s some scandal bubbling up in their civil soup.

At a press conference in Moscow for an upcoming charity benefit called ‘Give a Life,’ Grigorieva confirmed she and the actor were dunzo, adding, ‘We have split up, suddenly and recently.’

‘Unfortunately, I cannot give you the reason. But you will find out everything quite soon,’ the actress and singer added.

Do tell, Oksana!

Sources close to the couple said last week that ‘they’re both working hard on their careers and trying to raise a sweet baby together,’ and the pair are ‘still friends.’

We wonder what Oksana has up her sleeve.

Gibson and the Russian musician’s coupling was announced just days after Gibson’s first wife, Robyn Moore, filed for divorce. Gibson and Moore share seven children from their defunct union. Lucia was born in October 2009.
