Lindsay Lohan‘s dad, Michael Lohan, swung by his oldest daughter’s apartment Thursday, TMZ reports, with officers checking on the welfare of 16-year-old Ali, Lindsay’s sister.

Lindsay quickly took to Twitter, expressing disbelief that her ‘ex-dad’ was allowed in the building and accusing him of hiring the sheriff’s deputies who came to her home. Michael told deputies he was worried for Ali’s safety after she’d been in Lindsay’s car coming home from the Coachella music festival at speeds up to 100 mph, a TMZ source said. He told Hollyscoop they were going 115 mph.

Lindsay told Gossip Cop on Thursday that she wanted ‘restraining orders and the cops should be fired!!!!!!!! Also – my building cannot let this happen!’ Gossip Cop had reported that Michael, on law-enforcement advice, was on his way to the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services.

However, during the 1 o’clock hour PDT, Michael Lohan was live online being interviewed by Harvey Levin of TMZ, and said he hadn’t yet gone to DCFS.

During the interview, he commented on ‘tough love’-type statements made recently by Dr. Drew Pinsky regarding Lindsay.

Said Michael: ‘I oppose my daughter and stand behind him.’
