Jon Favreau certainly seemed to be feeling the massive buzz surrounding ‘Iron Man 2’ when he hit the carpet outside the El Capitan on Monday night, smiling and talking at a rapid-fire pace about working with his old buddy Robert Downey Jr.

Earlier, the actor told us that working with the director was like ‘being bunk mates at theater camp.’

‘Yeah, we were like bunk mates at theater camp,’ Favreau agreed. ‘He’s a funny guy. He’s always challenging himself and the people around him to do something original and different. And, you know, there was always a new idea. There was always something. He was always challenging us to go against what we expect or what people expect of us. So in that way, he’s very inspiring creatively.’
