Star sightings: Jennifer Garner’s birthday party, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian hit Sin City

Coachella was the main game in Southern California this past weekend, but nestled in Pacific Palisades, actress Jennifer Garner celebrated her 38th birthday Saturday with the help of famous friends.
An afternoon of family fun was hosted at Garner and Ben Affleck‘s home, attended by pals Tobey Maguire and Jen Meyer with their daughter Ruby and Molly Sims and Jason Bateman with his tyke Francesca.
Affleck and brother Casey were out in Hollywood the night before, attending the annual Children Mending Hearts gala, which supports global children’s charities. The Hollywood bros rubbed elbows with Meg Ryan, Marisa Tomei and Rosario Dawson.

The pair, whose affair-turned-courtship allegedly led to heckling from press on the CMA red carpet, shared a romantic post-show meal of oysters and tequila at Lavo.
Back in Indio Valley, the Merv Griffin Estates played host the Coachella Oasis, where partygoers got lucky with resident MC Will.i.am and his Black Eyed Peas band member apl.de.ap, spinning for the likes of Josh Hartnett, Shaun White and DJ Cobra, who sipped Alma de Agave tequila cocktails.
Away from the festival and awards hoopla, MTV skateboarding star Rob Dyrdek threw the first pitch at an L.A. Dodgers game, where they faced the San Francisco Giants. Guitarist Slash jammed for the national anthem.
