We know we haven’t written in a while about the drama at Michael Jackson’s family’s compound in Encino. Sorry about that.

But here’s the latest: It’s still sort of crazy-town in there -- what with all those kids, and one 79-year-old woman technically in charge of their care. But there’s nothing, you know, dangerous crazy.

That’s according to Radar, which reports that the local Department of Children and Family Services has wrapped up its investigation of the Jackson household. You’ll recall that DCFS reportedly delved into the situation at the Jackson home after one of Jermaine Jackson’s kids allegedly got his mitts on a stun gun. Well now, it seems, no kid appears to be in immediate danger, and all’s A-OK. I mean, given that it’s the Jackson house.

Meanwhile, another Jackson, Janet, is making the media rounds.

The singer and actress is promoting her new movie, “Why Did I Get Married Too.” During an interview with Jay Leno, Jackson revealed how she dug up the pain needed to deliver a particularly emotional scene. Her secret? Her brother’s death, among other tragedies.
