‘Saturday Night Live’ favorite Kristen Wiig can get glam with the best of them -- just expect mucho funny business.

The actress and comedian covers this month’s V magazine, the Funny Issue, wherein writer John Ortved tackles her capturing of national attention and the some eight films she has on the horizon.

Ortved touches on a Vanity Fair spread including Wiig, with ‘SNL’ alums Maya Rudolph and Tina Fey, a recent Vogue cover girl, that proposed a woman has to be pretty to get a laugh.

Wiig begs to differ.

‘I think that if you’re funny and people respond to you, it shouldn’t matter what you look like. I guess I don’t believe in ‘have tos’ when it comes to that kind of stuff,’ she tells V.

Wiig can be seen in the forthcoming ‘MacGruber,’ ‘How to Train Your Dragon,’ and the Fey and Steve Carrell comedy ‘Date Night’ -- to name a few.
