In addition to being the Sexiest Man Alive, Johnny Depp has been selected by GQ magazine as one of the most stylish men in the world for its upcoming issue (Robert Pattinson made the list too!). Though the actor appears with no shirt in Patrick DeMarchelier‘scover shot, we can’t help but agree -- there’s always been something stylish about Johnny.

‘Johnny Depp’s a unicorn -- a really glamorous, one-of-a-kind eccentric,’ Barney’s New York’s creative director Simon Doonan told the mag.

‘He wears great man jewelry. He doesn’t shy away from color. He’s always peeking through his amazing hair. It doesn’t matter if Johnny Depp’s lying in a ditch -- he’s always going to look incredible.’

Others who made the list include Anderson Cooper, Pharrell Williams, Brad Pitt, Clint Eastwood, LeBron James, Ed Westwick and Jay-Z.

And what is GQ’s position on Pattinson, the Twi-Hards’ beloved Edward Cullen?

‘A pair of jeans, a T-shirt, an unbuttoned and untucked plaid shirt.... That’s it. He dresses his age (23); he dresses to his strengths; he dresses so you don’t give a damn about how he’s dressed.’ So sayeth GQ.

They also visit that heartthrob hair: ‘Young Rob’s probably got the best head of hair since James Dean, and he lets it do the talking. He also lets it fly: no pompadour, no side part... As far as we can tell, he just runs his hands through it every five minutes.’

What do you think of Rob’s tousled locks? Of GQ’s opinions? Tell us in comments, and don’t forget to cast your vote on the most stylish man of the 25 at GQ.com.
