Taylor Swift already has a clothing line and a shopping cart’s worth of music awards. Next realm to conquer: the apparently competitive world of greeting cards!

The singer will partner with American Greetings for a collection of cards -- online and traditional -- plus gift wrap, stationery and more, to hit stores this coming spring. Don’t be surprised -- she revealed her love of cards to MTV a while back.

“My idea of a great song is a song that says how I feel better than I could,’ Swift said in a press release. ‘I feel the same way about greeting cards.”

Painful truth: We ventured into the whole made-at-home greeting card game when we were tween-ish, coming up with smashing lines that included, ‘When the bluebird of happiness flies over you, don’t look up.’ Perhaps overly influenced by the culture at the time?

We’re sure Taylor’s songwriting prowess will give her an edge -- even if there are a few things she won’t be writing about in her greeting cards.
