That sure didn’t take long.

Henry Schleiff, the media executive who seems to have worked just about everywhere, now can add one more stop to the list: Discovery Communications. Schleiff, who left the chief executive job at Crown Media, parent of the Hallmark Channel, just over a month ago, has been named to the newly-created position of president and general manager of Investigation Discovery, a true-crime channel.

It makes sense. Schleiff, ran Court TV for many years and oversaw the channel’s rise from 30 million homes to 85 million homes. He also broadened the channel’s format beyond just trials to more of a reality channel.
