Here it is not quite the middle of December and the Dodgers’ roster looks all tidy. Filled to the brim and all.

Know how managers love to talk about how healthy competition is during spring training? The Dodgers are going to have to look elsewhere to get all hale and hearty.

There’s over two months before spring camp opens and the budget boys’ 25-man roster is just about a closed shop.

Here are your 2012 Dodgers:

Catchers: A.J. Ellis, Matt Treanor.

Infielders: James Loney, Mark Ellis, Juan Uribe, Dee Gordon, Jerry Hairston Jr., Adam Kennedy.

Outfielders: Andre Ethier, Matt Kemp, Juan Rivera, Tony Gwynn Jr., Jerry Sands.

Starting pitchers: Clayton Kershaw, Chad Billingsley, Ted Lilly, Aaron Harang, Chris Capuano.

Relievers: Javy Guerra, Kenley Jansen, Scott Elbert, Matt Guerrier, Blake Hawksworth, Josh Lindblom, Mike MacDougal.

Getting all tingly, are you? When does camp open again?

There could be a couple of changes but they’re not likely to be significant. The bankrupt Dodgers have yet to re-sign MacDougal but are working on it. An added veteran reserve outfielder could possibly send Sands back to triple-A to start the season.

Otherwise, if you enjoy spring training partially for the roster battles, best move on to another camp.
