Judge Kevin Gross will not rule Thursday in the Dodgers bankruptcy case, according to one of the parties involved in the case.
Gross heard arguments for nine hours Wednesday about whether Dodgers owner Frank McCourt should be able to use a loan he arranged to finance the team during the bankruptcy process rather than one offered by Major League Baseball.
MLB’s loan offers better terms than the one McCourt secured from a hedge fund, but McCourt is concerned that baseball has become an adversary and is more interested in ousting him from ownership than helping him out of a financial bind.
Gross said the court would oversee how the loan money was used.
