Barbaresco’s Angelo Gaja has always been forward-thinking. He was the first to plant an extensive Cabernet vineyard, a pioneer in both winemaking and marketing, and indefatigable ambassador for the wines of Piedmont.

Now he’s just announced the debut of the 1993 book ‘The Vines of Sorì San Lorenzo: The Making of a Great Wine in the New Tradition’ as an ebook. Written by Edward Steinberg, it’s a fascinating look at the winemaker and the region. Available for the Apple Ebook reader, Kindle and GooglePlay and — get this — it’s available in English, Spanish, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese. Why no Italian?
