In conjunction with the current retrospective exhibit for the iconic fashion photographer Herb Ritts at the J. Paul Getty Museum, Getty Restaurant executive chef Mayet Cristobal and chef de cuisine Matt Lee have designed a special ‘Dine in L.A. Style’ menu inspired by Ritts’ work.

The menu features a lot of black and white, plus reductions, vinaigrettes and ‘creamy desserts that express L.A.’s inimitable flair and flavors.’ At lunch that means pork belly tostada, squid ink and sweet potato ravioli with black kale, and dark chocolate and vanilla bean ice cream with black and white shortbread for dessert.

At dinner there’s yellowtail crudo, burrata alla panna, sea scallop with pea risotto, black garlic and black trumpet pea tendrils, Colorado lamb belly and, to finish, a dark chocolate bombe.

A photographer will snap a black-and-white Polaroid of your party, as a memento.

Lunch is $34 per person (or $52 with wine pairing) and dinner is $85 per person ($115 with pairing).
