Today's Eat Beat: Oatmeal pancakes

To give extra depth of flavor to your next batch of pancakes, try adding some ground oatmeal. That's what Food editor Russ Parsons did, giving his pancakes a wonderfully nutty flavor with a slightly coarser texture. But that's not all -- you might also try adding wild rice to your pancakes, or even dried fruit. He demonstrates these techniques in today's Eat Beat, above. You can also find the recipe here.
