Dental floss isn’t just for the medicine cabinet -- it’s also a handy tool to keep in the kitchen.

Floss, with its small surface area, is perfect for slicing through soft foods without damaging them. Use it to slice through soft cheese or cleanly cut a dough log into individual cookies. It even works wonders on cheesecake.

Just make sure the floss is unwaxed and unflavored... unless of course you want to add a subtle hint of mint to whatever you’re slicing.
