We must be going Pinot crazy. Last week the Pasadena PinotFest started, with a big dinner and weekly tastings running into February. Now comes Pinot Days Southern California, a three-day festival centered at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar beginning Jan. 26.

The lineup looks great. This one really is practically a who’s who of Pinot Noir producers, with a special concentration on the Central Coast. In fact, there will be a special Santa Rita Hills event called the ‘Santa Rita Palooza’ at West restaurant in the Hotel Angeleno in Santa Monica. Ticket prices vary: The Santa Rita Hills event is $35 while the Grand Festival Public Tasting is $60 ($100 for a VIP pass that gets you in early).
