La Buca does one-pot supper: Chef Jason Neroni’s monthly One-Pot Supper Mondays continues in September at Osteria La Buca. On Sept. 19, Neroni will prepare zuppa di mare with market fish and shellfish; farmers’ greens; and olive oil cake with stone fruit. The price is $30 per person, $40 with house wine. The restaurant also will offer discounted bottles of wine. Lobster galore: The Original Long Beach Lobster Festival will take place at the Rainbow Lagoon in Long Beach Sept. 9-11, featuring Maine lobster steamers from Bristol Farms served with melted butter dipping sauce and lemons, coleslaw, dinner rolls and watermelon. All lobster is flown in nightly from the Atlantic. Live Entertainment includes Chris Anderson Group, Decades 70’s/80’s Dance Band, the Bill Magee Blues Band, Texas House Party, Bennie & The Swamp Gators and more. A.J. Gibbs, “The Zydeco Dance King,” will provide dancing lessons. Also: arts and crafts booths, beer & wine gardens, themed cocktails, free souvenir digital photos, sports tent, magicians and inflatable bounces. $5 happy hour: Cocktails and appetizers are $5 apiece at the London Bar by Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood hotel through the end of September, Mondays to Fridays from 5-7 p.m. (Valet parking is $5 too.) Drinks include the Summer in London with London dry gin, fresh grapefruit juice and Champagne; the Italian Summer with Cava, Aperol and a splash of soda; and the London Cosmo, orange vodka, Aperol, St-Germain and cranberry juice.
