No surprise, this episode of Weekend Eats has a distinctly Easter feel to it! Included in the mix: this photo by Dave Wilson of Tehachapi. He used the recipe for leg of lamb stuffed with greens, feta and pine nuts that Times Food Editor Russ Parsons wrote about last week. Dave reported back:

‘Just wanted to thank you for a delicious recipe ... When I saw your recipe I knew I wanted to make it for Easter dinner. We had about twenty or so people over and I Rotisseried about a 6.5 lb. leg of lamb (there was the usual ham). I witheld the rosemary and only used it for garnish as one of my guests does not like it. I did everything else according to your recipe and wowed even the most culinarily gifted among us. Teenagers were getting up for seconds, imagine that ...The sauce was unbelieveable. The lamb was gone and there was plenty of ham left over. Thank you so much for that recipe, I’m going to keep it in my file indefinitely.’
