What are you doing Saturday? Hopefully you are joining me for some carbo-loading at the National Food Bloggers Bake Sale being organized by Gaby Dalkin of the ‘What’s Gaby Cooking’ blog’.

The bake sale raises money for Share Our Strength, which is dedicated to ending childhood hunger. (Details here.) Locally, you can support the cause by swinging by Morel’s French Steakhouse and Bistro at The Grove (189 The Grove Drive) on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and selflessly buying some baked goodies.

I’m using this event as an excuse to make Momofuku’s Crack Pies as my contribution to the cause. Hope to see you there. And here’s your Twip of the Day: Follow Gaby @whatsgabycookin
