Thanksgiving countdown: Braised red cabbage with toasted hazelnuts

If you're looking for side dishes for Thanksgiving, how about braised red cabbage with apples and toasted hazelnuts? For the best flavor, use tart apples such as Gala, Winesap or Arkansas Black.
