I caught up with chef Sang Yoon for about 2 minutes this afternoon. The Father’s Office impresario remains tight-lipped on the Asian noodle bar he plans to open down the block from Father’s Office 2.0 in Culver City. It’s still in the very, very early research and design phase. ‘It’s not far along enough to say anything. We don’t know when it will open, hopefully this year,’ Yoon says. (Food & Wine reported the news last Thursday.)

Yoon has also learned his lesson about making idle chitchat in this hyper-connected, hyper-fast Internet era. ‘It was just a conversation I had, and I guess someone wrote about it. I should learn to keep my mouth shut,’ he says with a laugh.
