Trying to figure out what to wear to dinner at Bryan Ogden’s new Apple restaurant in West Hollywood? Well, don’t squeeze into those jeans. I called for a reservation and was told of the dress code...
Reservationist: Do you know the dress here? Me: Umm, no. What do you mean? Reservationist: The dress code... Me: Well, no. [Thinking: How could I know the dress code? I’ve never been there, as the restaurant doesn’t open until Friday....] Reservationist: No jeans, no sneakers, no flip-flops. We’re fine-dining upscale.
