“Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” 9 and 10 p.m., Monday NBC: Starbursts blaze above the Big Apple.

“Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular” 10 p.m., Monday CBS: Michael Chiklis hosts the annual ceremony that presents fireworks accompanied by the music of the Boston Pops Esplanade orchestra.

“Late Show With David Letterman” 11:35 p.m., Wednesday CBS: Ryan Reynolds; a performance from “Anything Goes.”
