The biggest night on Broadway -- the Tony Awards -- will take place June 12 at the Beacon Theatre in New York. CBS will air the ceremony live, with a delay for the West Coast. The musical front-runner is ‘The Book of Mormon,’ the cheerfully irreverent musical by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez that earned 14 nominations. The play category is a harder call, but David Lindsay-Abaire’s ‘Good People’ is looking like a safe bet, though it has tough competition from ‘War Horse.’
