Photographing Gustavo Dudamel with Placido Domingo

It’s not easy to catch Gustavo Dudamel, the music director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Plácido Domingo, general director of the Los Angeles Opera, sitting in the same spot at the same time.

Los Angeles Times photographer Genaro Molina did earlier this year and has a story to tell about how he ended up with two of the world’s busiest musical personalities playfully sitting cross-legged in a tiny Music Center hall.
