Andrew Lloyd Webber has made a cottage industry of casting leads in his West End revivals via reality television.

The über-composer found a Joseph for ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ in a show called ‘Any Dream Will Do,’ then a Maria for ‘The Sound of Music’ in ‘How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?’ and most recently, a Nancy and three young boys to share the title role of ‘Oliver!’ in ‘I’d Do Anything.’

These programs have slowly made their way across the pond to BBC America, with ‘I’d Do Anything’ finally getting an American airing now. Part 1 aired last week, so we’ve include a video wrap-up to catch you up. This series’ judges include producer Cameron Mackintosh and Barry Humphries (a.k.a. Dame Edna).

Talk about spoiler alert: Because this show aired in 2008 in Britain, a simple Google search will turn up the winners’ names. But whether you can control your impulse to look or not, and if Andrew Lloyd Webber is your cup a tea, the Cinderella story of these shows does have an allure.

The show continues Wednesdays at 9 p.m. (6 p.m. for satellite viewers on the West Coast) on BBC America.
