You probably know Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesly on NBC’s long-running comedy, ‘The Office.’ But now the 2007 Emmy-nominated actress is stepping behind the scenes to serve as producer of the absurdist comedy ‘Sad Happy Sucker,’ written by her husband, Lee Kirk.

The play, about an alienated young man stuck -- physically and metaphorically -- in his backyard, opens Friday at the Lyric Hyperion Theatre in Los Angeles and runs through Oct. 10.

Fischer will be joining us for a live chat at 11 a.m. PDT on Friday (You can sign up below for a reminder note). She’ll be here to answer all your questions about the play and her role as producer (and maybe some about ‘The Office,’ if you’re nice).
