February 5, 2010 |  5:00 pm

Following Thursday's announcement that an injured Svetlana Zakharova won't be appearing with the Bolshoi Ballet when it arrives in Orange County later this month, the famed dance company has announced new casting for its six performances of "Don Quixote."

Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev are set to appear in the opening night performance on Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa.

The duo will also take to the stage for the 2 p.m. matinees on Feb. 27 and 28.

Maria Alexandrova and Mikhail Lobukhin will perform on Feb. 25, 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Performances will take place at Segerstrom Hall.

On Thursday, the Bolshoi said the Zakharova is unable to perform on the company's U.S. visit due to a hip injury. The Bolshoi is also scheduled to travel to the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., where it will perform "Spartacus."
