Those billowing banners that adorn the outsides of art museums, advertising the latest exhibitions inside, are now finding their way into homes, thanks to a partnership between BetterWall and art institutions around the country.

Reincarnated as wall decorations, a selection of these advertisements is now available for sale at retailer Room & Board in Santa Ana, according to our friends over at the Home & Garden blog. (A branch of the store is set to open in Culver City in September.) Among the banners for sale are those from a recent Henri Matisse exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Art and a Georgia O’Keeffe ‘Red Flower’ exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Buyers, however, should be warned to expect art-world prices. The banners go for $415 to $525 apiece and come with certificates of authenticity.
