‘Avenue Q’ co-creator Jeff Marx sings ‘White Kwanzaa’ on CNN

If you didn’t tune in to ‘D.L. Hughley Breaks the News’ on CNN over the weekend, you missed ‘Avenue Q’ co-creator Jeff Marx performing his hilarious song, ‘White Kwanzaa.’ But Culture Monster is here with the video for those of you who have a life and were out and about Saturday and Sunday.

Since winning the 2004 Tony Award with Robert Lopez for ‘Avenue Q,’ Marx has reportedly been juggling a slew of projects.

Radar Online says the L.A. songwriter is working on the score for Marco Pennette’s musical adaptation of ‘The Flintstones’ for Broadway. Gossip king Perez Hilton reports Marx is collaborating with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone on ‘Mormon Musical,’ which they’re aiming for Broadway. And Liz Smith of Variety wrote that Marx was teaming with Brad Meltzer on a series for ABC called ‘The Romeos.’
