New York magazine proves celebrities are people too

Us Weekly famously catches celebs as they really look in its ‘Just Like Us’ photo page. Photographer Dan Winters trumps the paparazzi in an amazing photo gallery in New York magazine featuring some of New York’s biggest name actors and actresses, up close and personal.

Winters’ portraits are stark, striking and occasionally jarring views of several notable names from film, theater and television, including Lauren Bacall, Liev Schreiber, Susan Sarandon, Glenn Close, Kevin Klein, Meryl Streep, Sarah Jessica Parker and Christopher Walken.

Now we at Culture Monster admit that perhaps we’ve been basking in the California sun a bit too long and have grown accustomed to the Hollywood glam lifestyle. So we’re impressed and delighted to see these actors and actresses looking like real people -- just like us.
