Not in the Variety headline sense. In the personal-injury, take-four-Advil-and-call-me-in-the-morning sense. After finally opening to the public two weeks ago after months of delays, cost overruns and political squabbling, Calatrava’s Constitution Bridge over the Grand Canal is tripping up tourists.

Shades of Norman Foster’s Millennium Bridge in London, which also got off to a rocky start.
