All of you who have eagerly been waiting for Gov. Jerry Brown to make appointments to his Cabinet and senior staff today can go home now. It looks like the announcement will be delayed until Wednesday.

Earlier today, Brown said he would name his executive secretary -- a job similar to that of chief of staff. Brown also said he would not have a chief of staff in his administration.
