GOP Rep. Dan Lungren reelected in Northern California

Republican Rep. Dan Lungren of Gold River beat back Democratic challenger Ami Bera, holding onto his 3rd Congressional District seat in Northern California.

Some mail-in ballots remain uncounted, but with 100% of the precincts reporting early Wednesday, Lungren was comfortably ahead with 50.6% of the vote to Bera’s 42.7%.
