Patt Morrison asks Barbara Boxer to specifically name ‘what programs must be cut.’

Boxer instead refocused on ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and ‘collecting from people who are ripping off the government.’ She also she is for ‘stopping tax break to the millionaires and the billionaires.’

She declined to name specific programs she’d cut.

Fiorina has started ticking off Boxer’s record of failing to cut spending. The moderators pressed Fiorina to say where she’d cut. ‘With all due respect, her record is the issue,’ Fiorina said.

‘Let’s institute a spending cap in Washington, D.C.,’ she added, proposing a pay freeze for federal workers and only one hire for every two workers who leave government.
