Launching a new education-themed, Spanish-language television ad, Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman continues to use her wealth to court California’s Latino voters. The TV spot mixes shots of Whitman speaking into the camera in front of a blackboard and images of her among Latino youth in classrooms.

‘The Latino kids attending public schools in California today will be tomorrow’s doctors, engineers, businessmen and teachers,’ Whitman says in English, as Spanish subtitles roll across the screen.
