New Meg Whitman ad targets state employees, lawyers

February 18, 2010 | 10:27 am

State employees, lawyers and old computers are the focus of Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman's latest radio ad.

The 60-second spot says "spending has been out of control in Sacramento," and offers Whitman's description of "what big spending looks like."

She cites the hiring of "40,000 new state workers" since 2004, the state's "nearly 3,400 lawyers" and outdated computers as an example of government inefficiency. You can listen to the ad below.
