San Bernardino not telling which houses burned

San Bernardino:

San Bernardino County officials are not immediately releasing a list of homes destroyed in the fire.  County Assessor Bill Postmus announced the decision, saying fire and law enforcement agencies had asked him to refrain because roads into the destruction zone remain closed.

With the roads closed and "officials not releasing a list of destroyed homes"..... doesn't that make it even MORE IMPORTANT to list the houses??? Atleast destroyed! Atleast knowing is better than wondering and waiting!
Knowing can cause people to start acting early on what needs to be done to start rebuilding. Not knowing can cause chaos and panic!!!!
And if their house is not listed, it gives them atleast some comfort! Come on!
