Balloon animals and surgical masks

The scene at Qualcomm Stadium:

Massage therapists are rubbing backs, a clown is giving balloons in funny shapes to kids and a musician is playing jazz on his electric guitar. People have thrown up tents for refugees to camp out in the parking lot. Boxes and boxes of diapers have been donated. Parts of the arena seem festive, until you see children in surgical masks to keep out the soot and ash.
