Peanut Corp. of America, the company at the center of a nationwide recall of hundreds of foods containing peanut products, has issued a list of items people might have bought in discount stores that are part of the recall.

Because a recall notice issued Jan. 28 ‘indicated that PCA does not sell products directly to consumers in stores ... the potential for confusion may exist,’ PCA said in a release today.

The recall includes Peanut Corp. products processed in its Blakely, Ga., plant since Jan. 1, 2007. Most of the products from the plant were sold to other companies as ingredients in cookies, cakes and other foods.

But some were retail items, Peanut Corp. said. The company sold Casey’s, Parnell’s Pride, Reggie and Robinson Crusoe labels to several discount stores. The recalled items are listed here.
