Times staff writer Zohreen Adamjee interviews Beirut Bureau Chief Borzou Daragahi about his past year covering stories out of Iran. Borzou was a finalist for the 2009 Pulitzer Prize in international reporting for his coverage of Iran.

In just the last year in Iran, Borzou has covered stories about Tehran’s controversial nuclear program, various human rights issues, the 2009 election unrest and the bloody aftermath that followed, and Neda Soltan – the woman who drew international attention after her death was caught on video.
