There is no official word yet that more Marines are going to Afghanistan but here’s some circumstantial evidence: More Marines and sailors are undergoing training at the Marine’s cold-weather facility at Bridgeport, Calif.

Among the courses is a 12-day outdoor seminar on cold-weather medicine, how to treat troops wounded or injured in snowy, mountainous terrain when the nearest hospital is miles away.
