Paul Reubens dusted off his Pee-wee Herman bowtie for a hit Broadway run of ‘The Pee-wee Herman Show’ late last year and early this year. And if you were lucky enough to get tickets, you got to relive the ‘80s magic. But for those not in New York, or Los Angeles (where the live stage show debuted), HBO filled the gap with its airing of ‘The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway’ in May. That special picked up several Emmy nominations last month, including one for best variety, music or comedy special. (That’s after the show was shut out by the Tony Awards.)

Now, Pee-wee Herman himself, Paul Reubens, is joining us to talk about the live show, the Emmys and maybe even his in-the-works return to the big screen. Join us here on Wednesday, Aug. 17 at noon PST.
