Surveying the episodes submitted in the Emmy race for best reality program, it's hard to see what could beat the most shocking segment of one of TV's most popular programs: the notorious rat episode of "Hoarders." See video below.

"Antiques Roadshow" -– Ep. 1504, San Diego - Jewelry expert Peter Shemonsky appraises a collection of Tiffany & Co. hardstone cameos (circa 1864) at $25,000 to $35,000.

"Deadliest Catch" -- "Redemption Day," which focuses upon the death of Captain Phil Harris.

"Hoarders" –- Glen, "The Rat King"

"Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D–List" – Ep. 601 "Kathy With a Z." Griffin calls Liza Minnelli for advice after securing a special guest-starring role on "Law & Order: SVU."

"MythBusters" -- "President's Challenge," featuring President Barack Obama, who encourages young people to try an experiment designed to fuel their interest in science, technology and engineering.

"Undercover Boss" -- Sheldon Yellen, the CEO of BELFOR, the world's largest disaster restoration company, goes undercover and becomes frustrated while struggling to hang drywall.

Blame cranky Dr. House because Hugh Laurie hasn't won an Emmy?
