Serious Emmy campaigning was started by HBO back in the 1990s under the leadership of network president Chris Albrecht, who now presides over the Starz and Encore channels. After arriving at his new job in early 2010, Albrecht launched new scripted dramas that included the miniseries ‘Pillars of the Earth’ and the drama series ‘Camelot’ and ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’ for Starz. At Encore, he’s overseen the new variety series ‘In the House with Peter Bart and Peter Guber’ plus a documentary on animation behemoth Industrial Light and Magic. Of course, they’re all now getting strong Emmy campaigns via stylish DVD packages shipped to TV academy members. Click on the images below to see larger views.
