Envelope Emmy Week: The 'Shameless' cast on where their characters will end up, and what shooting nude scenes is like [Video]

June 6, 2011 |  4:40 pm

As the "Shameless" cast fielded questions from Times television writer Scott Collins at the Envelope Screening Series last week, many were caught a little off-guard  by the idea of where their characters might be in 10 years. From coaching a soccer team of ostriches to running for Congress to hoping to find their own identities, their answers can be surprising. Watch the first video below to see what they had to say.

In the second video, executive producer John Wells and co-stars Emmy Rossum and Steve Howey discuss the various nude scenes in "Shameless." All agreed that because the show is such a stark portrait of alcoholism that the nudity serves both as an equally realistic glimpse into the lives of this family at their most vulnerable, and that sometimes, well, it just helps break up the tension.
