Which four of these stars were totally snubbed by Emmy? They didn’t even get a single nomination. However, one star below actually won. To see the answer, click the ‘Continue Reading’ link below.

ANSWERS: Desi Arnaz (‘I Love Lucy’), Eva Gabor (‘Green Acres’), Buddy Ebsen (‘Davy Crockett,’ ‘Beverly Hillbillies,’ ‘Barnaby Jones’) and Penny Marshall (‘Laverne & Shirley’) were never nominated.

Enormous confusion surrounds how ‘Roseanne’ fared at the Emmys. It’s widely known that the snooty bias of Hollywood voters against blue-collar TV shows caused the top-rated series never to be nominated for best comedy, even though it won the equivalent award at the Golden Globes and claimed a Peabody prize too. However, that bias is not so evidenced in the acting races, in which the show’s star, Roseanne Barr, was nominated for best comedy actress four times and won once (1993).
