The Humane Society of the U.S. announces Genesis Awards nominees

‘How to Train Your Dreagon,’ ‘True Blood’ and ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ are among the nominees for the Humane Society’s 25th anniversary Genesis Awards, which honor ‘outstanding reporting and creative portrayals of animal protection issues’ in the news and entertainment media. The Los Angeles Times also received two nominations.
